In the event of an emergency, it is recommended that you seek appropriate medical care or allow your nervous system time to stabilize for a few days prior to receiving a massage. Massage therapy is intended as a preventative wellness practice and is most effective when incorporated into an ongoing, consistent self-care ritual.
