FOCUSED SESSION

Migraine Buster Therapy in Orlando

A dedicated hour for the neck, jaw, scalp and suboccipitals — for the headaches that come from tissue rather than from something a scan would find.

Not every headache is a migraine, and not every migraine responds to bodywork. But a large share of what people call migraines are cervicogenic or tension-driven — originating in the suboccipitals, the upper trapezius, the jaw and the scalp fascia. That kind responds to hands remarkably well.

Migraine Buster Therapy is an hour spent entirely there, at $165, rather than the ten minutes the neck gets at the end of a general massage.

What the session includes

  • Sixty minutes focused on neck, jaw, scalp and suboccipitals

  • Suboccipital release, the single most productive area for tension headache

  • Jaw and temporalis work — including intra-oral technique where appropriate

  • Trigger point work through upper trapezius and levator scapulae

  • All-inclusive pricing, no tipping

Neck Massage Therapy

HOW IT RUNS

The session, step by step

Map the pattern

Where it starts, where it travels, what precedes it. A headache that begins at the base of the skull behaves differently from one that begins behind an eye.

Address the jaw

Clenching drives an enormous share of headache. Temporalis, masseter and the surrounding fascia get real time.

Release the suboccipitals

Four small muscles at the base of the skull that refer pain straight through the head. Sustained, patient pressure — not fast work.

4

Unload the shoulder girdle

Upper trapezius and levator scapulae hold the head forward all day. Treat those and the neck stops fighting them.

QUESTIONS

About migraine therapy

Bodywork is most effective on cervicogenic and tension-type headache. It can reduce frequency and severity for some migraine sufferers, particularly where neck and jaw tension is a trigger — but it is not a replacement for neurological care.
